During their September meeting, the Petal School Board honored students from the Petal High School Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA). The students were top finishers in the state level competition and qualified to compete at the 2014 Future Health Professionals Leadership Conference held in Orlando, FL in June. For the first time in the ten years of competing, a Petal student placed nationally at the competition. Spencer Headrick placed third in the Medical Photography category.
