The Petal High School Band was recognized by the Petal School Board at the November 14 monthly meeting. The band won the 6A State Marching Band Competition held in Clinton, MS, on November 9. This is the second year in a row that the band had earned this prestigious honor. The four band directors and band section leaders were present at the board meeting to hear congratulations from board members and Superintendent, Dr. John Buchanan.
