PSD Designated StormReady Supporter
The Petal School District was recognized by the National Weather Service and Forrest County Emergency Management District for meeting the requirements to be a designated StormReady Supporter. The district has actively worked over the past two years to meet the standards for this recognition by planning and promoting severe weather safety awareness procedures and activities. The Petal School District is the second district in the state to achieve the StormReady status.
