PETAL, Miss. – The Petal School District (PSD) will host its annual Teacher Job Fair from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Petal Primary School located at 60 Herrington Road in Petal. This is open to all prospective teachers interested in a PreK-12 certified position in our school district.

Prospective teachers will have the opportunity to connect with principals and assistant principals face-to-face and take part in 10-minute mini-interviews for openings in the 2025-26 school year. For the building administrators, the fair serves as a screening time where they determine which candidates to call for full interviews as positions become available.

"Our teacher job fair is instrumental in connecting us with talented educators who become invaluable members of our school community,” said Emily Branch, principal of Petal Primary School. “Many of these hires go on to inspire students and contribute to the innovative and supportive environment we are proud to offer," Branch said.

Interested candidates must submit the online registration form and complete the licensed personnel employment application found at www.petalschools.com. The deadline for registration is Thursday, January 16. Once registration has been submitted, applicants will receive a confirmation email with their interview time.
