PETAL, Miss. – The Petal School District (PSD) is proud to announce Angela Clepper Williams as the 2025 inductee into the Academic Hall of Fame. A 1987 graduate of Petal High School (PHS), Williams is being recognized for her outstanding achievements in business transformation and technology solutions, as well as her lifelong dedication to leadership and innovation.

With 27 years of experience, Angela has made a significant impact in the consulting world, particularly at Accenture / Avanade, where she currently serves as Senior Director. In this role, she leads sales enablement efforts for Microsoft Copilot and Generative AI technologies, helping organizations enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation. Angela’s career includes senior leadership roles at global organizations, and she has worked with Fortune 500 companies to implement successful digital transformation programs.

Angela’s academic journey began in Petal and led her to the University of Southern Mississippi, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communications and English, graduating with honors.

During her time at PHS, Angela stood out as a well-rounded student leader. She was named Petal’s Junior Miss, served as Vice President of Student Council, and was honored as Miss Petal High School—a testament to her early commitment to excellence both in and out of the classroom.

In addition to her induction into the Academic Hall of Fame, Angela will also serve as the keynote speaker for PHS’s Scholarship Night on May 12, 2025. Her inspiring story of professional success and commitment to lifelong learning will serve as a powerful message to the graduating class as they embark on their own academic and professional journeys.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Angela is deeply committed to philanthropy, including her work with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where she was recognized as one of the top fundraisers for the Texas Gulf Coast chapter's Visionary of the Year campaign. Angela is also dedicated to arts education and has served on various boards, including the Second Baptist School Arts Board.

The PSD Academic Hall of Fame was created to honor graduates who have made significant contributions to their fields and serve as exemplary role models for current students. Angela Clepper Williams exemplifies these qualities through her leadership, innovative thinking and commitment to giving back to her community.
