Mrs. Tarika Moffett

Hello! My name is Tarika Moffett and I teach 3rd grade Language Arts and Social Studies. I team teach with Candis Crigler, who teaches Math and Science. I began teaching in 2007. I came to the Petal School District in 2016. Teaching is my passion and I look forward to an exciting school year!

My Family

My husband, Jonathan, and I have 2 beautiful girls, Isabella Ann and Sophia Grace. My personal hobbies are watching the Hallmark Movie Channel, reading a good book, and grabbing dinner and a movie with my family.

My Education

I received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from William Carey University in 2007. I also received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from William Carey University in 2009. I obtained National Board Certification in 2020.
