     Mrs. Skye Morgan
Hi everyone!  I am a graduate of Petal High School and proud to be a panther.  I continued my education at The University of Southern Mississippi where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre with an emphasis in scenic design, lighting, and sound.  After a few years in the workforce I decided to return to school and earn a Masters in the Arts of Teaching from The University of Southern Mississippi.  I have taught a wide variety of subjects in history which include; Mississippi Studies and Geography, Advanced World Geography, United States History, A.P. United States History, A.P. Government, A.P. Economics, American Democracy, and Sociology. This is my 9th year to teach in the state of Mississippi.

The 2018-2019 school  year I will be teaching 11th United States History and A.P. United States History. I  also coach for the Petal High School Forensics (Speech and Debate) team!

I am very serious about education, especially the importance of history courses for students. I believe a strong foundation of history and civics teaches students to become citizens who make educated, well-informed, and cautious decisions regarding the American political system and everyday life. So, thank you for entrusting me with your precious student!  I promise I will teach them to think, explore, respect, and participate in the world around them!
