About Me:
My name is Tiffany Hudson Lawrence. I am beginning my 8th year teaching at Petal High School. I previously taught at Wayne County High School and Seminary High School. My husband, David, and I were married on October 12, 2015. We have a little boy named Hudson Aubrey Lawrence who was born on December 4, 2017. We have a little girl named Tinsley Dalyn Lawrence who was born on September 10, 2019. We attend Venture Church in Hattiesburg. When I am not teaching, I enjoy playing tennis and running.
My Education:
I graduated high school in 2008 as the Valedictorian from Wayne Academy. I received an Associate's Degree from Jones County Junior College in 2010 where I played on the tennis team winning 2 singles State Championships and 2 team State Championships. I finished my tennis season at JCJC being ranked 18th in the nation in singles. While at JCJC, I was a member of the Hall of Fame, a Golden Key recipient, and given the Presidential Athelete Award. I then received a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Education from William Carey University in 2013. While at Carey, I played two more years of tennis making it to nationals two more times. My senior year at Carey, the tennis team finished 2nd in the nation, and at the national banquet, I was awarded the Champion of Character Award. Also at Carey, I was the recipient of the David M. Halbrook Award given to the athlete with the highest GPA. I then received a Master's Degree from William Carey University in Mathematics Education in 2017.
