I received my undergraduate degree at USM in Special Education and began
my education career in the Petal School District in 1991. Six years later I
decided that my children needed me at home. After a 2 year hiatus I came
back to Petal taking the position of Special Populations Coordinator for the
high school Career and Technical Education Department. I received my
Masters in School Guidance Counseling and Vocational Counseling from
USM in May of 2006. I was the CTE Counselor for 9 years. I am currently
the Guidance Counselor for all Petal High School students with last names beginning with A-G.
I am married to Sam Morris and we have three children:
Tanner, Brenna and Dillon- all graduates of Petal High School!
