Welcome to Art!
My name is Kandice Munn and I am the Art Teacher here at Petal Elementary School. I'm looking forward to teaching your kids in art this year! Since this class is an appreciation of art, we will build on the Elements and Principles of Design. We will experiment with Drawing, Painting, building 3-D Objects, Origami, and Art History.
Follow News in Art: We are collecting toilet paper rolls for upcoming projects in the fall. Send them with your child.
I attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting and drawing and a minor in Spanish. I have one year experience teaching Spanish II and four years teaching art.
I will teach two sections of third grade and two sections of fourth grade art. My schedule is listed below:
7:50-9:00 (4th grade)
9:05-10:15 (4th grade)
10:30- 12:05 (3rd grade)
12:10-1:20 (3rd grade)
