Mrs. Cynthia Coccaro, M.Ed.

I am the school counselor at Petal Upper Elementary. I was a classroom teacher for fifteen years before coming to Petal Upper Elementary. I instructed kindergarten through sixth grade. I earned my bachelor’s degree at The University of Southern Mississippi in elementary education, and my master’s degree from William Carey University in education with an emphasis in school guidance counseling. I am a National Board Certified Counselor candidate. When I am not counseling students, I enjoy spending time with my two children and husband. Parenting has prepared me for the field of education more than anything else. It is my pleasure to mentor your children and assist you in any way that I can.
