Mrs. Katie Applewhite

Hello and Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!!! My name is Katie Applewhite and I will be your son or daughter's World History teacher. I have been at Petal High School since January of 2018 and I feel so blessed to work at Mississippi's #1 School District. I have lived in Purvis for over 13 years but am originally from D'Iberville. I am married with two children, Jordyn and Landon, and my third baby is our German Shepard Macy. Some things I enjoy doing in life are kayaking, fishing, and camping with my family and also, because of the corona break, I have found gardening as a new hobby.
