Mr. Ryan Saul, Assistant Band DirectorMr. Saul is in his 20th official year as Assistant Director of Bands in the Petal School District. Prior to his official status, Mr. Saul came to the Petal High School Band in 2000 initially as a student teacher and percussion instructor.
Mr. Saul is originally from Clinton, MS where he graduated in 1996 from Clinton High School. Mr. Saul was first chair in the Mississippi Lions All-State Band for four years and also received the Roy M. Martin award. After graduating high school, Mr. Saul received a full music scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi where he spent the three years in the world renowned Southern Miss Wind Ensemble as principle percussionist two of those years. Mr. Saul holds both a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in Music Education from University of Southern Mississippi.
