Rhonda Peek, Intervention Specialist
    I have been in education for 25 years. I began my career as a 3rd grade resource teacher and 4th grade teacher at Quitman Upper Elementary. I taught 4th grade at Lamar School in Meridian for ten years and 6th grade at Magnolia Middle School in Meridian for one year. At Petal High School, I was an inclusion teacher for six years. I have been the intervention specialist for the last five years. 
    I received my bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University in elementary education K-8 with certification in special education K-12. I recently completed my master's degree in dyslexia therapy from William Carey University. 
    I am married to Mitch Peek and we have three children - Addison, Sara-Ashley and Hayden. Addison and Sara-Ashley graduated from Petal and Hayden is currently a student at PHS.
