I am so excited to be teaching polymer science!  I graduated from Bay Springs High School in 1998.  I received both my Bachelor's degree and my Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi (Southern Miss to the TOP!) and decided to translate that education into a teaching career.  This is my 13th year teaching (all in the Petal School District), and I have worked in USM's School of Polymers and the Mississippi Polymer Institute.  I am a master teacher for the ASM Education Foundation in Materials Science and currently spend my summers teaching professional development workshops to teachers around the country.  I also serve as the teacher trainer in polymer science for the State of Mississippi.  I am married to Damian Holmes, and we live in Petal with our 2 children, Ethan and Loren.  We attend Venture Church and have a sweet dog named Chloe.
