Buffy Morris Grades 9-12
Hello!! Thanks for visiting my web site.My name is Buffy Morris and I am the transition specialist at PHS. I help facilitate the transition of students from school to community by implementing the person centered planning process in support of students' job and adult placement. I have 20 1/2 years experience in education with 18 of those in the Petal School District. I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and Alcorn State University. I have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education (K-12) and a Master's degree in Elementary Education (K-8). Also, I am certified in grades 7-12 Social Studies, Science and English.I am originally from Stringer, MS but Petal has been my home for over 15 years. My son, Jackson, is in his first year of college. I have 3 dogs, Izzy, Chevy, & Ruby, that are rescues.
