Welcome to Coach Boover's Class!

My name is Sam Boover, and I am very excited to be a part of the Petal School District.  A little about myself is that I graduated from Southern Miss in 2020 with my degree in Kinesiology.  I have also previously coached at Sumrall and Perry Central at both the middle and high school levels. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy watching sports, playing golf, and spending time with my fiancee, Anaclair.

I will be teaching 7th and 8th grade Science at "The Middle".   I will also be an assistant coach on the middle school football and basketball teams.  During our academic journey this year, we will learn about life, earth, and physical science concepts.  Be sure to check Canvas for weekly assignments and updates regarding my class.  Please feel free to reach out at any time during the school year as I enjoy getting to know both my students and their families.
