As a native of Petal and a 2007 graduate of Petal High School, I am extremely excited to be at PHS! I am married to Erik Salas and we have a daughter, Lena Salas who also attends Petal Schools. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, I taught 3-4th grade ELA at Thames Elementary. From there, I pursued 5th and 6th grade ELA at Laurel Magnet School of the Arts.

This year, I will be teaching the transition class at Petal High School. You might see on me on Friday nights as I also serve as the Colorguard Director for the Petal High School Band!
