Ms. Katherine Brune

Hello! My name is Katherine Brune, and I am the Family and Consumer Sciences teacher at Petal High. My courses include Interpersonal Studies and Human Development, as well as serving as a co-sponsor for the career and technical student organization FCCLA.

I am originally from Ocean Springs, and I graduated from Mississippi State University with my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science, concentrating in FCS Education. I also received a certificate in Trauma Informed Child Advocacy and gained certification in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
