Hello! I am Mary Smith and this 2023-2024 school year will be my ninth year as Intervention Specialist at Petal Upper Elementary School. I have previously taught first, second, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. I live in Hattiesburg with my husband, Darin and my children, Catherine and Conner. I enjoy reading, travel, sporting events and concerts in my free time.
I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in elementary education in 2003 from the University of Southern Mississippi. I also completed my master's degree in elementary education at Southern Miss in 2011.
