Mrs. Samantha Henington

Welcome to 4th grade!

I am so excited to be your child's 4th Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher this year! I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in 2014 and have since earned my Masters Degree in Science Education from Western Governors University. 

My husband John and I have two amazing children who also attend Petal School District. We have 3 crazy dogs and a ninja kitten who are hilarious and so much fun. Originally we're from Idaho but we have moved all over this beautiful country with the Army these last 15 years and have had the pleasure of living in 6 different states. We are thrilled to have found Petal, MS and have fallen in love with the area and its people. 

Some of my favorite things to do include family movie nights, disney vacations, photography, baseball, and backpacking.
