Welcome to U.S. History with Ms. Hofman! I am so excited to be here on the Petal Middle School team. I am originally from Chicago, IL and about a year ago I moved from Oxford, MS. I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education in 2017. I am also currently in the process of earning my Master's degree from The University of Southern Mississippi in Human Capital Development with an emphasis on instructional technology and design. This school year will be my 6th year teaching 7th grade US History and I could not love it more! Also, I am the middle school girls soccer coach. I am looking forward to another successful year in the classroom and on the field! We will be using our Canvas class page for all assignments and upcoming events.
