Mrs. Lindsey Jones

Welcome to 7th grade ELA! ☺ I am excited to begin my third year of teaching at Petal Middle School, I am looking forward to another successful school year. I am committed to providing each student with a quality education in a comfortable and safe learning environment, where all students are valued and respected, and the potential to learn is limitless. 

I received my bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Marketing from The University of Southern Mississippi in May 2018. Shortly after beginning my professional career working in the Graduate Admissions Office at Southern Miss., I decided to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming an educator. In the summer of 2019, I began the Master of Arts in Secondary Education program at Southern Miss., which has led me to be where I am today. 

I currently reside in Sumrall, MS, with my husband, Zach, daughter Allie Kate, and two miniature dachshunds, Oscar and Cali. I love to travel, be outside, attend ballgames and concerts of any kind, cook, run, bike, and watch good movies. I am a people person, and I love to talk!
