    About Me:

Hello! My name is Hannah Parker and I am an ELA teacher at PES! I am in love with what I do, and I couldn't imagine a life where I couldn't teach. I am passionate about teaching children how to analyze, think critically, problem solve, and become the best version of themselves. Outside of school, you can usually find me working on arts and crafts, singing at church, working on classwork, crocheting, spending time with my family, or relaxing and watching Netflix. I love Disney movies, green tea, shopping at Target or TJ Maxx, and even playing the occasional video game. My favorite thing to do is laugh. A life of laughter is a life well spent!

I am so excited about this year and the wonderful adventures that await!

    Education:

I have lived in Petal my entire life. I attended all the Petal schools, participated in colorguard and showchoir, and graduated from PHS in 2011. From there, I went to Jones Country Junior College where I received my Associates of Arts Degree. Later, I ventured into Hattiesburg and attended William Carey University where I graduated with honors with my Bachelor's of Education with endorsements in reading and social studies. After teaching a few years, I received my Masters Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Gifted Education. I look forward to more educational opportunities in the future!
