  • Hey! My name is Jeff West, and I’m excited to be at Petal High School as the Physical Science teacher. This will be my 6th year as an educator. I previously taught in Stone County School District and Forrest County School District. I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and Mississippi State University. #SMTTT #hailstate

    I have been married to my beautiful wife, Ashlie, for 9 years, and we have lived in Petal for 8 of those years. Though neither of us is originally from Petal, this is our home and the place we’ve happily chosen to put down roots. I have 4 amazing kids, Daniel, Courtney, Kameron, and Elly, who are all students in this great school district. Our 7th family member is our Boston Terrier, Pam Beasley. As a family, we love to travel and spend time outside, and we are active members at Asbury UMC.  I am a fan of all things MSU, and I also love the Boston Red Sox and Dallas Mavericks.
