Choir and Show Choir

INNOVATIONS is the award-winning women's show choir at Petal High School. They are an advanced select group of 51 singers/dancers, 10 stage crew members, and 11 instrumentalists. Each year, INNOVATIONS performs in the Fall Fling, Fall Sampler, Fall Showcase, Grand Premier, Spring Show and other programs/events on campus. 

During the 2024 competition season INNOVATIONS will compete at the following competitions: the Southland Classic in Enterprise, AL, the West Jones Show Choir Invitational, the Biloxi Gulf Coast Show Choir Classic, and the Marysville Showcase in Marysville, OH.  

Last competition season, INNOVATIONS received three first place awards while also receiving first runner-up at the Heart of America Orlando Competition.

SOUNDSATIONS is the award-winning mixed show choir at Petal High School. They are an advanced select group of 61 singers/dancers, 10 stage crew members and 11 instrumentalists. Each year, SOUNDSATIONS performs in the Fall Fling, Fall Sampler, Fall Showcase, Grand Premier, Spring Show and other programs/events on campus. 

During the 2024 competition season SOUNDSATIONS will compete at the following competitions: the Southland Classic in Enterprise, AL, the West Jones Show Choir Invitational, the Biloxi Gulf Coast Show Choir Classic, and the Marysville Showcase in Marysville, OH.  

Last competition season, SOUNDSATIONS received three Grand Champion awards along with Best Vocals, Best Visuals, and Best Overall Show Design while also receiving first runner-up at the Heart of America Orlando Competition. 

SPARK is the award-winning show choir at Petal Middle School. They are an advanced group made up of 42 singer-dancers. During the school year, they will perform at the Fall Sampler, Fall Showcase, Christmas Cafe, Spring Show, and other various events around campus and in the district.

During the 2024 competition season, SPARK will be competing at the South Jones Invitational, the Mississippi Show Choir Contest, the West Jones Invitational, the Magnolia Invitational and the Biloxi Gulf Coast Classic. They will perform exhibition at the Petal Show Choir Invitational. 

Last year, SPARK won Grand Champion at the South Jones Invitational and the Heart of America Orlando Competition, as well as various other caption awards in Outstanding Vocals, Outstanding Visuals and Outstanding Show Design.
