The National Honor Society is a service-oriented organization that focuses on scholarship, leadership, and service to others. To be a member of NHS, students must be in 10th - 12th grade, have a 3.0 GPA or better, and no excessive absences or major discipline issues. Applications are taken at the beginning of each school year and require 2 letters of recommendation and an essay. To remain a member in good standing, students must complete 15 hours of community service EACH YEAR THAT YOU ARE A MEMBER, and participate in all major service projects.
