    • Tests, essays, and projects count as 70% of a student's grade;
    • Daily work is 30%.

    Grading Scale:

    • A: 90-100
    • B: 80-89
    • C: 70-79
    • D: 65-69
    • F: 0-64

    Sample grade calculation: A student has the following daily grades: 100, 90, 85, 90, and 100.

    • If she makes an 88 on an essay assignment. Her average would be 89.5.
    • If she makes a 50 by turning in an incomplete or inappropriate essay assignment, her average would then be 63.
    • If she makes a 0 by not turning in an assignment or turning in a plagiarized assignment, her average would then be a 28.
