Student Registration Information:
The Petal School District has made some changes to the student registration process for the 2019-2020 school year. If you have an ActiveParent account and your child is a returning student you do not need a code to begin registration. If you do not have an ActiveParent account and your child is a returning student you will need to contact your child's school and that school will create your ActiveParent account and attach your child to your account for you. If your child is new to the district you will need to attend new student registration at Petal Primary School (60 Herrington Rd) so we can create an ActiveParent account for you, generate your child in our system andcomplete that child's registration.
How to Access ActiveParent:
Click here to go directly to ActiveParent or, alternatively, go to the Petal School District's main page (www.petalschools.com) and select ActiveParent in the list of commonly used links on the right hand side of the page.
Once logged in to ActiveParent, click theicon at the top right of the page to begin registering your child.
Times and Location of Registration:
New student registration will be held on July 15 and July 16 at Petal Primary School (60 Herrington Rd) from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
Returning student registration will be held July 18-19 and July 22-24 at Petal Primary School (60 Herrington Rd) from 7:00am - 6:00pm.
You must attend registration on one of the above dates to prove residency. Click here to view the list of acceptable documents used to prove residency.
- Parents or Legal Guardians are the only persons allowed to enroll a student. Proof of guardianship is required upon registration.
- To enter Kindergarten, your child must be five years old on or before September 1, 2019.
- If you registered your child for Pre-K in March or April, your registration is incomplete. You must complete your registration for you child to be enrolled in the 2019-2020 school year.
