PHS InfoTech Students Earn FCC Licenses

Petal High School InfoTech I students recently completed a unit of study including electrical safety principles, electronics theory, wireless radio propagation, and FCC regulations, and were given the opportunity to test for a FCC Technician-class license.   The PHS InfoTech Lab has an Amateur Radio station equipped in part by a grant from the Petal Education Foundation.

Seven students in Mr. Brad Amacker's 2nd period class passed the FCC exam and earned the license.
